THEN & NOW
The Farm House surrounded in history dates back to the original Plantation of 1720. Both Simon Mathew and his brother-in-law Simon Butler were Welsh emigrants who settled in the town of Society, later known as Barndtsville, Whitehallville, and finally Chalfont. New Britain Township was named in their honor.
We continue to preserve the original 18th Century built fireplaces, hardwood flooring, exposed wood beams, broad wood trim, wainscoting and a full bar. The beautiful and intimate open concept design space in the farmhouse is used for various events, bridal and groom suites or for after event cordials and international coffee bar.
Nostalgia 1720 offers a charming romantic outdoor garden with endless natural beauty. The vintage style gazebo, a kissing bench, fire pits, a beautiful pergola swing makes this a perfect site. Nostalgia 1720’s enchanted outdoor garden and a majestic vintage carriage is a charming setting ideal for your event’s or engagements photos. We are also ADA accessible on our premises and offer abundant parking.
The Cameo Ballroom that’s attached to the farm house has gone through renovations in 2018 and is absolutely stunning! It will comfortably accommodate up to 300 of your guests, with offerings such as:
A grand staircase entrance, color-changing LED lights, new hardwood floors throughout, new Chiavari gold chairs, crystal chandeliers, new antique gold draperies. As well as ADA accessible with a chairlift in the ballroom, USB charging ports and WIFI throughout the building and lockable bridal and groom suites.
